Hi Michelle,

thank you for your kind words and question 🙂

We haven’t tried such a big batch. I will go with 54 – 56 minutes.

Please let us know how it goes!

My daughter loves to eat sticky rice rolls and now, this recipe makes my life a little easier.
But I have a question, if I want to make a big batch of sticky rice, just say for 4 cups, would 48 minutes long enough to cook? Thank you!5 stars

Hi Lawrence,

thank you for your comment and question 🙂

Just make sure there is enough of a gap for steam to rise will be fine.

About either inch gap all around

Thank you. She lives in Texas but is from Seoul South Korea. She hadn’t used an Instant Pot before.5 stars

For the pot-in-pot I use the 3qt instant pot liner inside the 6qt duo with the trivet…Easy clean up too! Thanks5 stars

I add about an extra tablespoon of water because I like my sticky rice just slightly more moist. Whenever I need to cook any kind of rice, your website is the one and only place I go to find the right information! I really appreciate your testing process. Rice cookers are for the birds LOL instant pot all the way! Also I have no idea what model my instant pot is.5 stars

I use my cooked sticky rice to make biko, a scrumptious Philipino (from what I have read about it; I’m white) rice cake with literally 5 ingredients. It just doesn’t come out the same unless you steam the rice and I don’t have a steamer. I do have an IP!
If you are struggling to use your cooked sticky rice, I highly recommend looking up a recipe for biko and making a pan!5 stars
