Tastes great and no babysitting oatmeal on the stove.5 stars

I do add a pinch to 1/2 tsp of salt depending on how many servings, though to perk up the flavor. They’re a little bland without the salt, and I wind up putting too much sweetener in to make up for it.5 stars

I’d just add that if you add a little bit of oil or butter you can forgo any natural release as the oil prevents the steal cut oats from foaming up (an issue especially for larger bathes).5 stars

I have been going with #6 with a tad bit more water, and it’s a perfect rendition of what I used to have to toil over the stove for hours to achieve. Thanks for the great article!

Just finished a bowl, with blueberries, raspberries, raisins and walnuts. YUM! I’m used to instant oatmeal, so was worried about the lack of sweetness, but I ate every bite.5 stars

This was definitely the most straightforward, super easy to follow – I even doubled the recipe! Just finished my first bowl, with raspberries, blueberries, craisins and walnuts. I may try brown sugar tomorrow. Will absolutely make this again! I have the IP Duo Crisp 6qt.

No time or energy to cook dinner and this hit the spot. Added a spoonful of almond butter, pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries, monk fruit sweetener, a little honey and heavy cream. Yum.5 stars
