Thanks so much for your fabulous recipes for the IP. You’ve been a life saver. 😋👍🏻🙏🏼

As mentioned in the recipe, I cooked 360 g broccoli florets at low pressure for 0 min with 1/2 cup water, released the pressure as soon as the time was up, and the broccoli came out great. Actually more cooked than I thought it would be (still a bit of crunch, but definitely cooked through). I’m using the broccoli in a salad later, so I ran it under cold water after taking it out of the IP, to stop the cooking.

Thanks again, and take care!

Hi Heather,

Happy New Year & Thank you for your question 🙂

More broccoli means longer get up to pressure time. The broccoli is also cooking during the get up to pressure time so you can reduce the pressure cooking time.

Please take care & stay safe
Jacky

Why is MORE broccoli calling for LESS time? 2-3 cups calls for 0/1 minutes while 1 cup calls for 1/2 minutes. Could you explain that? I thought MORE would require MORE time!5 stars
