You can mostly skip the saute step and throw all the ingredients in if you like.

The saute step is mostly a flavor-enhancing step.

wondering if there any “throw it all in the pot” recipes, like u would with a crock pot. This is the only thing holding me back. You gotta put the meat in, take the meat out, saute this, etc.
Trying to keep an open mind.
